Photographer, Filmmaker and Writer

Hello! My name is Eva Moentmann. I am a photographer and filmmaker. I attend Webster University. I am a sophomore, and have three years experience with photography and film making. I am certified by Adobe in Adobe Photoshop. I have worked with Blackmagic cameras, Panasonic, and several different DSLRs, including my own EOS Canon Rebel 55mm IS II Lens.

Even with being a full time college student, I have a lot of free time to work with clients. As a film major, most of my classes meet for three hours at a time, which also means they meet once a week. Next semester, January 2017, I will have Mondays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays free to work with clients. My past experience with photography is I have taken several photo classes at my University. I have taken photos of client's work, such as client who was a contractor looking into going into his own business, so I took pictures of things he built for his portfolio. I have taken head shots for actors applying to graduate schools in New York City. For my own pleasure, I often take pictures of graveyards and other landscapes to perfect my photo skills. Doing this got me into my University's photography student show last year, I submitted three photos and all three photos were featured in in the show.

My film experience is I have directed and produced three short films for my university, two of which I was also the editor and the director of photography for. These two were short narratives, and the third was a documentary. I have been the director of photography for a classmate's documentary, as well as a production manager and boom pole operator for two other narratives.

 

I also have a lot of experience as a writer. I have been published in my high school's literary magazine. I have been featured in my city's newspaper after I won third place in my school's poetry slam. I have written several screenplays for short films I then made into movies. I wrote a ten minute play which was chosen to be preformed by my high school. As a debater, I have written several award winning speeches and scripts. Currently I am minoring in scriptwriting at Webster. Writing is something I very much enjoy and I pride myself on being a good writer.
